Java Applet

Scrambler Applet - Demonstrates a scrambler electronic circuit behavior as proof-of-concept implementation for web/distance learning.

In late 1997 I came across a Java Usenet newsgroup posting from a U.K. University assistant looking for someone to construct a few Java Applets that would let them interactively demonstrate some basic signal processing concepts to students via web interaction.  I put in a bid and won the project.  Over the next few months I developed three Java Applets that could be run in either a web-browser or in stand-alone mode.  I was then contacted several months later to build one more Applet on a short deadline which I was able to complete.  Below is one of the Applets running in an embedded frame.  At the bottom of this page I have included a link to a .zip file containing the source code, Javadoc generated API reference (HTML format) and the runnable .jar file.

NOTE: If you see nothing below, make sure  Java is installed for your browser configuration.

( Firefox has a known glitch when scrolling Java Applets pages too fast /sigh )
