Below are sample pages from an early draft document I put together after a requirements gathering and analysis phase I completed.  The information gatherd was then synthesized into a collection of UML Use Case Diagrams that lay out the functions required by different users of a new in-house B2B web service.  The document then leads into some high level design, most notably the final UML Component Model that will ultimately get expanded into a more detailed Component Diagram.
